Yes this is inspired from the song . I used some sizzix diecuts for this. 2 different tree sizes, i also used the banner and the scroll sheet.
i used the Petals ink pads the natral tones to shade the trees, and I also used pearl ex paints to give the trees more color. the smaller trees have pop dots to give it some demension. and the bottom is some green fiber. The box next to the trees have the words to the song printed on velum, which i used tiny green brads to hol them to, under the velum there are some more trees cut out and matted on cream colored card stock. The little banner has " No man is a island printed on it with jelly roll ink pens, and has two leaf embelishments on the side. the picture is a digital print from a epson rx500 printer matted on some green speckled card stck, and my favorite is the scroll sizzix die cut. I have printed the sheet music on it, i wanted to give it an aged look, but didn't really want to do the brown tone, so I used differnt shades of green around the edges, it has an aged look so unique, but not over done.
